Collections

You are welcome to collect your order directly from us and save on courier fees. Please note however the following terms regarding collections:

  • Do not collect until we have informed you to do so. We do not have a retail store or storefront.
    All collections are by appointment only.
  • Our full physical address will be provided to you during the order processing. We are based in Verwoerdpark, Alberton.
  • Please inform us if a courier will be collecting the parcel, so we can package the order accordingly.

Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are based on the weight of your order and your distance from our location.

A delivery fee is calculated during checkout.

Local          Johannesburg, Pretoria only  from R65

National     all major centres  from R95

Additional fees may apply to the following:

  • Regional locations
  • Special locations (mines, plots/farms, power stations, remote areas, military bases, game lodges, ports/harbours, embassies etc)


Delivery Time

Products that are in stock at the time of order are generally dispatched the same day, provided that payment has been received in full, and the order is placed before 2pm.

Most orders are delivered by the next business day.  If your order exceeds 2kg, then delivery can take 2-3 days.

Regional and special locations take approximately 2 days longer than usual routes.

Custom Candles endeavors to ensure that delivery time frames are accurate. However the delivery times stated for products on this website assumes that stock levels are maintained and that stock availability information provided by our suppliers or ourselves are accurate. We also rely on delivery times not being adversely affected by unforeseen events. Custom Candles will not be liable for any loss, expense or other damage directly or indirectly caused by any delay in delivery.

Couriers

We make use of The Courier Guy for deliveries around the country. All parcels are sent Door-to-Door, and as such a person must be available at the delivery address you specify during normal business hours. We are not liable for any re-delivery fees that may apply in the event of non-delivery.

At times, depending on order size and delivery location, we may opt for a different courier to service our delivery.

Tracking

On dispatch of your order, we will send your tracking information to you via email for easy tracking on the courier's website.
